Fear

FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real

Fear is a spiritual force, a curse and the root of

that which is  evil (negative).  Fear manifests in

several different forms;  low self-esteem, anger,

anxiety, mood swings and panic attacks.

What is the cure (how do you overcome)?

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Have Faith (believe in God)!

Romans 1:16–17 16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ”The just shall live by faith.”

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Be filled with the Word of God (gospel of Christ)!

Proverbs 4:20–23 20My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. 23Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

And the Holy Spirit!

1st Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

1st Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you.

Pray (with authority and the Word in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ)!

Philippians 4:6–7 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The spirit of fear has no power over God’s people.

Luke 10:19 Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 8:1–2  1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:14–15 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. 15For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

Galatians 3: 13–14 13Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

2nd Timothy 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind.

Through Faith, reading and staying filled with the Word of God and praying the believer will walk in victory.

Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

You have been given power (authority), therefore in the name of Jesus Christ take authority over the spirit of fear (name that spirit) and command it to leave you, to go back to the pit and stay there.  Speak directly to the spirit of fear and command it using the Word of God and the name of Jesus Christ. The spirit has to obey and bow down to the name of Jesus to those that believe.

Mark 11:22 – 26 22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Mark 16:15 – 18 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Stand firm in your confession.  Your confession is what you speak (pray), the Word, in the name of Jesus.  Do not give up for if you hold fast you shall have what you confess (pray and believe for).

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!
